All right, so this movie is a sequel to the first Cruel Intentions movie, and it stars Dawson's Creek alum Kerr Smith. Omg you guys, remember when Jack came out as gay on Dawson's Creek?  That was groundbreaking.

I’ve got a real soft spot for Kerr Smith and it’s all thanks to Dawson’s Creek.

So in this movie we're following these rich arseholes at this exclusive college in California.  Our female protagonist is meant to be SMG's cousin from the first movie, and apparently SMG has brought some disrepute to the family, but it seems they're all evil?  Also, I totally forget what her name is, and so I'm going with Cassidy, even though I'm 90% sure that's wrong.  I could look it up but like, I'm just not going to.

There's also this other guy who at the start is kind of this sweaty, gross, snivelling guy who rooms with Kerr Smith.  You think he's good at first but it's all an act, and he basically blackmails Cassidy into having sex with him and then there's the big reveal that he's sort of hot and normal and not sickly and gross.

A whole bunch of stuff happens.  Bets are made.  Cassidy bets Kerr Smith that he can't fuck this chick who is in a committed relationship with another guy, so he does, and then Cassidy fucks the boyfriend. It's weird.  Then there's really horrible sequence where the snivelly guy pretends to be a decent human being and a friend to this other chick while also convincing her to dump her long distance boyfriend, and then he straight up rapes her.  He rapes her.

It's so gross.  It's just a lot of people having sex and then calling each other sluts and just being generally shitty.  The only decent human beings are the girls who get swept up in this bullshit with these pricks and thrown away like garbage.

In the end Kerr Smith and Cassidy orchestrate the snivelly guy getting arrested, and he wants to live happily ever after with her, but she leaves him for another dude.

These movies are so shitty.  I was expecting a significant decline in quality but I was not expecting the decline to be quite so terrible.
